1. Acknowledgement of Retreat Activities

I understand that the In Her Body ~ Venus Retreat includes yoga, breathwork, Kundalini Activation, meditation, body awareness practices, movement, sound, ritual, group dialogue, and other wellness or spiritual activities. I acknowledge that participation is voluntary.

2. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and agree that:

• I am participating voluntarily in all activities offered at the retreat.

• Some activities may involve physical movement, emotional expression, or energetic practices that have inherent risks.

• I accept full responsibility for any risks of injury, illness, or loss that may result from my participation.

I expressly assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with retreat activities.

3. Health & Fitness Representation

I confirm that:

• I am physically and mentally able to participate.

• I will disclose any medical conditions, injuries, mental health concerns, or limitations to the retreat facilitator prior to or at the time of signing.

• I agree to consult a healthcare professional if I am unsure whether a retreat activity is appropriate for me.

5. Release of Liability & Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Niki Michalek and Lightbody Being - its facilitators, owners, directors, staff, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to my participation in the retreat, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Injury, harm, illness, emotional distress

• Loss of personal property

• Travel to/from the retreat

5. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Niki Michalek and its representatives against any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to my participation, including legal fees.

6. Confidentiality & Respect

I agree to respect the confidentiality and privacy of other participants. I will not disclose personal information shared in workshops, group circles, or private conversations.

7. Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Retreat spaces are intentionally limited to preserve the intimacy and integrity of the container. Please read the following policy carefully before securing your place.

Deposit & Payment Terms:
A deposit equivalent to two (2) fortnightly payments is required to secure your place. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or personal reasons.

If you are on a payment plan, you are entering into a commitment to complete all scheduled payments. Payment plans are not cancellable once commenced.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel your attendance:

• More than 40 days before the retreat: Any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be refunded, minus processing fees.
• Within 30 days of the retreat start date: All payments made are non-refundable.

Transfer to a Future Retreat
At the facilitator’s discretion, you may request to transfer your payments (excluding the non-refundable deposit) to a future Retreat if:

• You notify me in writing as soon as possible, and
• Your spot is successfully filled by another participant.

Transfers are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Retreat Cancellation by Organiser
In the unlikely event that In Her Body ~ Venus Retreat must be cancelled by the organiser, you will be offered either:
• A full refund of all payments made, or
• A transfer of your full payment to a future retreat.

By securing your place, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms.
